پنجابیوں اور پنجابی سے بغض کا اس ملک میں یہ عالم ہے کہ ہر شعبہ میں ہر چمچے کڑچھے کو ایوارڈ ملا اگر ایواڈ نہیں ہے تو پنجابی ادب کیلئے نہیں ہے ، اگر آپ پنجاب کے حق کی بات کر لیں تو مشرق سے مغرب بغض کے انگارے برسنے شروع ہو جاتے ہیں، پنجابی تو خیر اپنی زبان کو 1947 میں ہی دفن کر کے خوش ہیں .. کم از کم پنجابی ادبی حلقوں کو ہی آواز اٹھانی چاھئے!!

بيان مشترك لقمة مكة المكرمة للدفاع المشترك بين المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية التركية وجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية:

وقّع كُل من صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء -حفظه الله-، وفخامة رئيس الجمهورية التركية السيد/ رجب طيب أردوغان، ودولة رئيس وزراء جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية محمد شهباز شريف، "اتفاقية مكة للدفاع المشترك"، التي تعكس حرص الدول الثلاث على تعزيز أمنهم المشترك وتحقيق الأمن والسلام والاستقرار في المنطقة والعالم سعيًا إلى مستقبل آمن ومزدهر.

Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.

We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.

With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.

Had the pleasure of meeting my dear brother, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum today.

Thanked him for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to me and my delegation. I also congratulated President Erdoğan on the continued success of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum as an important global platform for dialogue.

We had a substantive exchange on regional developments, particularly the evolving situation in the Middle East. I deeply appreciate Türkiye’s steadfast support for Pakistan’s peace efforts.

We reaffirmed our shared commitment to further strengthen our deep-rooted, brotherly ties and agreed to enhance our strategic partnership, expand economic cooperation, and continue to work together for peace and prosperity in the region and beyond.

With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.

Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.
