@WaveIntel Building a team into a contender means finding players that fit specific roles. Kapanen looks to be solidifying his spot as the #3C. He plays such a smart game. Weakest spots on the Habs remain #2C & #2RHD. Also the G need to stop the puck!

I get this trade a lot more now. Obviously keeping Peterka was preferred. But they got two roster players now, which was what they preferred. Kesselring will be their #2RHD, which is hard to find. Doan is a hard forechecking winger who is still young. Not bad.

Kesselring is a fine player, Josh Doan still has upside. But unless I’m missing something I don’t see how that equals Peterka.

@fnveenie This is why it’s so important for this management to stay clear of anymore projects in terms of acquiring a player. Good thing about playoffs this year is they got more answers about the direction to take. Top priority needs: 2C #2RHD

@CoryJoh78291402 IMHO the team needs a few more tweaks to be contenders.They need to continue getting faster.Doesn't have to be everyone but I'd like to 👀 a burner on each line. And a #1RHD & #2RHD. If they sign Miller/Bo they'll only have abt $8M left to fix the D next summer. Someone has to go

@krusty027 @taj1944 They have to move 57, and 70-41 in order on your list. 41 is a tough ask. Still think the could do Garland+(Woo?) for Marino+. Then Myers to LA for Brown(UFA), all at the deadline. Clear 6.6mil and upgrade the #2RHD at the same time.
