It is important to know how sensitive the information on a system that contains IOCs is to be able to know what action to perform on it.

I started the @hackthebox_eu SOC pathway and saw the practical use of the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Attackers have different methods in which they approach the cyber kill chain, this framework highlights common techniques they use.

Apparently, it's the opposite of a subnet - combines multiple contiguous smaller networks (subnets) into a single, larger network (subnet)...

Among the things I learnt was the content of an ethernet frame.
Every packet a network is wrapped in a frame containing src. & dest. MAC addresses, a type (or length) field identifying the protocol, and an FCS at the end to catch any errors.

Today was all about strengthening my foundation in networking. I revisited Cisco Module 9, watched few YouTube videos to deepen my understanding on IPv4 and IPv6 addressing,afterwards proceeded to Module 10.
