YESTERDAY WAS A GREAT DAY IN NEVADA!!! #AB381 #RebasLaw has bipartisan support from both Assembly and the Senate and has been formally introduced!! Not only does it have support on both sides of the isle, it has support in both the #NVAssembly and #NVSenate. Last night, I crawled into bed and snuggled with my princess. I had tears streaming down my face, knowing that she, and all other animals will soon have better protection. She looked up at me and gave me the sweetest kiss as to tell me "it's going to be ok daddy."
I have been working the phones and letter campaign for the better part of the last 6 months and spent a lot of money doing so! But... it's starting to pay off! I think this is the year that we finally get stiffer penalties for those that harm our fur babies!
Part of the proposed law will be "... to include every act, omission or neglect whereby unjustifiable physical pain, suffering or death is caused, allowed or permitted" will become a FELONY!!! Harming a police animal would become a Class B Felony! We're fighting for you to @LVMPD #K9Enzo!
Agriculture animals would now be protected as well.
