@DocBlom @ChatenJessel @thatpsychprof We were advocating for funding and policies that recognized #OER for tenure and awards during my terms, but @samrurec could probably speak to their current advocacy work and the policies they are trying to replicate #ABOERJC
@DocBlom Do you by any chance know of some concrete policy that has been implemented in these provinces to support OER growth beyond just providing funds? I've been hearing about policy a lot recently and would love to advocate for it more from the students side #aboerjc
@CordeliaSnowdon Its funny because I was recently told this same thing by library staff at my own institution. They mentioned how well the student led Op-Ed piece set the stage for the future of #OER in Alberta #aboerjc
@ChatenJessel A4 I look to the students to set the direction. While I was a recent student advocate, now as a staff member at a University, I want to amplify the stories students are sharing about their needs & experiences with OER rather than me saying the best way to advocate #ABOERJC
