📊 ¿Qué investigó el estudio?
Se analizaron los 50 videos más populares en TikTok con el hashtag #ADHDtest.
Cada video fue evaluado en función de:
La precisión clínica de la información.
Su concordancia con un instrumento de tamizaje: el Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1).
El nivel de interacción generado: likes, comentarios y favoritos.
El contenido se clasificó como útil o engañoso.
El contenido se clasificó como útil o engañoso.
Resultados:
92% de los videos (46 de 50) fueron considerados engañosos.
Los videos útiles concentraron solo:
4% de los likes
1% de los comentarios
7% de los favoritos
La desinformación tuvo mucho mayor alcance que el contenido alineado con la evidencia.
En otras palabras: cuanto menos preciso el contenido, mayor visibilidad tuvo.
🚩 ¿Por qué esto es un problema?
Porque favorece el autodiagnóstico erróneo y la confusión clínica:
No toda distracción, procrastinación o cansancio mental es TDAH.
Muchos síntomas mostrados en estos videos son inespecíficos y pueden aparecer en:
Ansiedad

Trastornos del sueño
Estrés crónico

Ausencia de contexto clínico: no explican diagnóstico diferencial ni criterios formales.
El algoritmo premia lo llamativo, no lo preciso.
Cómo se diagnostica el TDAH en adultos?
No con un video de 30 segundos. Un abordaje adecuado incluye:
Entrevista clínica estructurada.
Exploración cognitiva.
Reconstrucción del historial desde la infancia, cuando es posible.
Evaluación de comorbilidades psiquiátricas y médicas.
Uso de escalas validadas como apoyo, no como diagnóstico único.
