#FacilityFridays Did you know that the John B. Robert Dam in NE ABQ was named after the first Executive Engineer of #AMAFCA! Originally called the Juan Tabo Detention Dam, it had a name change in 1984! Behind the concrete spillway is a basin designed to catch flood water!
#AMAFCA #FacilityFridays Currently under construction, the Black Mesa Phase II 3 Dam project will connect the outlets of Don Felipe and Raymac Dams to a single outlet. Another phase will connect the outlets of McCoy and Raymac Dams, completing the three dam outlet connection.
