The most incompetent, clueless and failure per excellence government in Nigeria will end in two years time. Actually, governance ends by June 2022 and electioneering (with massive looting)will begin in earnest. Some of us shouted ourselves hoarse that the true definition of incompetence and cluelessness was about to be given a modern nation to manage based on falsehood and no sense of history. Someone with a track record of no personal self-motivated achievements being saddled with managing a 21st century human and capital resources. The rest is history.
History is a guide. Now, the campaign has begun to make a certain man, with multiple fake identities, who believes solving unemployment is by employing 60 million youths into the military and feed them "agbado, cassava and maize" a president. A man that gathered followers not by his mental capacity and persuasion of ideology but by rent-seeking behaviors will now be fostered on the country again. Study history of how the state he governed, himself and through proxies, has been functioning then you will understand that another retrogression is coming. They mouth "Progressive" but nothing is "progressive" in their actions. The state has the most opaque budget system in Nigeria. Budgets are never made public. FOI bill has not being implemented in a "progressive" state. The state still runs like a cult. Everything is just flashy. It is a state well run on propaganda.
As before, I will speak based on my convictions of what history says. When Nigerians became a mob and voluntarily voted for the year of famine and locust, some of us stood like Joseph to interpret the dreams that this would end in gnashing of teeth and unnecessary bloodletting. We were accused of being anti-Islam, corruption advocates, anti-fulani... anti-North (My dear egbon, Kolapo Usman, accused me of this). This time, I guessed my "Yoruba-ness" will be questioned- someone actually accused me of supporting GEJ in 2015 because my mum is from Edo state so I am not a full Yoruba man. Some of us will be called "bastard" because we are well-trained not to close our eyes to evil even if it is a sibling that is guilty. I cannot be accused of supporting corruption because we will ask questions of how someone that was not among the billionaires pre-governor became one that owned the half of a state after governing a state for 8 years without running a business during that period.
When the time comes, we will choose Nigeria and what is good for our children. Sentiment will not play a role- no "Omo wa l'okan" will work here. If a worst candidate to the Emperor of Lagos is presented by the opposition, I will cover my nose and vote for the Emperor. Until then, I rest my case.

In February 2024, Maersk Terminals Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Keith Svendsen detailed the company's $600m investment commitment on a visit to the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite. During this meeting, which was captured on video, he reaffirmed Maersk's commitment to investing more in Nigeria.
In the video, the Maersk Terminals CEO clearly outlined plans to allocate an initial $100 million, with an additional "Half-Billion dollars" ($500m) earmarked for port investment in Lagos, Nigeria. Sunday's Riyadh meeting between President Tinubu and the Maersk Chairman was another opportunity seized to reconfirm Maersk's expanding port investment interest in Nigeria.
These substantial investments, championed and supported by President Tinubu's administration, are instrumental in generating employment opportunities for our growing population. It's imperative to recognise and commend such updates while encouraging our diligent administration and its officials to continue aggressively driving investments into the nation.
