History is NOT controversial folks. It’s enlightening. It is educational. It is a roadmap from our past to our present. A great and free nation does NOT run from her history. She illuminates it, engages it, and seeks most of all to learn to be better as a result of it. #APStudies

AP African American Studies, which may be the most controversial high school class in the U.S., is being piloted at hundreds of schools. An educator teaching the course and some of his students told @lisaling why they believe it teaches “history that everybody should know.”

Come to find out #APAfricanAmericanStudies "is optional—and aren’t even part of the curriculum" yet #AntiADOS,#AntiBlack #RonDeSantis aka #DeathDeSantis still doesn't want it but has no issues with #APStudies of other races, cultures and ethnicities.https://t.co/j1lqXpHYTZ #BHM

As we knew. @RonDeSantisFL is a liar. You can go to @NBCNews website and see the entire AP African American curriculum they were planning to use and all of it’s attached recommended books & video listing. Nothing was wrong with it. #RonDeSantis #APStudies #Florida
