We have seen DVTs but rarely if ever was pt having ECMO flow issues. My 2 cents

@ansakhuja @asaiojournal @ELSOOrg @EuroELSO @tedberei @criticalbeansmd @pkguru10 @HerxxAU VV prolonged runs we have gone 2-3 months without systemic heparin. Our average time on supprt is 16 days. Have not had any significant circuit clotting events.

@HerxxAU @ansakhuja @jswol @KasiaHrynia @mplillyblad33 @asaiojournal Completely agree. So much variability from institution to institution however. aPTT vs anti-xa vs ROTEM/TEG at some facilities. Different algorithms based on intensity of anticoag, etc. We need to come together to find the best approach. #asaiojc
