There has to be something seriously wrong when it only takes a suggestion, an accusation, or an insinuation that you might be ‘mentally ill’ to frame you as unwell, remove your kids, lock you up, lose your job, medicate you, ignore crimes committed against you, position you as delusional, and completely destroy your life, but it takes multiple professionals, years of assessments, endless complaints, and ‘evidence’ to prove you are NOT mentally ill or to get a misdiagnosis overturned. Why should a diagnosis made with zero evidence in the first place, be held so surely and with such weight? Why do you need evidence to overturn something that was decided without evidence? Why should anyone need ‘evidence’ that they are mentally well to undo someone’s opinion that they are mentally unwell? What a weird and corrupt system.
