@philroberts You mean acceleration boost as optional in-app purchase? I don't know when it will come, but the registration paperwork includes this extra power already. The LR states 366kW combined motor power, which is Acceleration Boost level. So it can happen any moment...or never.
Maybe a coincidence:
- 110kW is exactly half of what the #3D7 is certified at for max power. 655A x 335V = 220kW.
- 159kW is exactly half of what the #LongRange is certified at without #AccelerationBoost.
To demonstrate this with a Model Y Long Range:
- Combined Motor Power Limit is 431kW
- No #AccelerationBoost limits to 980A (blue line)
- With #AB it limits to 1255A (orange line)
- Even an unrestricted battery (1350A) wouldn't be able to saturate the combined motor power limit!
