Today we officially kick off the #AfricanGirlsCanCode @AGCCIAfrica_1 Initiative in South Africa, in partnership with @DBE_SA! 👩🏽💻🤖
On 4–14 July, 100 girls from public high schools from all nine South African provinces dive into coding & robotics at our tech camp in Johannesburg.

OmniContact together with Elevate Trust Zw and UN Women Zimbabwe is part of the African Girls Can Code 5-day Bootcamp which is currently being held in Bulawayo. This Bootcamp is fuelling and empowering the next generation of women in technology.

Two weeks ago, 30 young women from 🇿🇦 @OfficialTNCTVET in Mamelodi Pretoria began their @AGCCIAfrica_1 training in 3D printing, AI, robotics, & micro science. Today, on their last day they proudly say: "we are #GirlsInSTEM".

Congratulations to the 70 girls who completed the #AGCCI Coding Camp in Mozambique yesterday. It’s an exciting moment for #Africa and #Mozambique.
The girls have pledged to replicate their knowledge on robotics, application design, Scratch and Web design.
