The kidnapping, disguised as an arrest, was carried out by a group of jihadists affiliated with the al-Julani regime. Since the arrest—or rather, the abduction—all contact with Hamada has been cut off, and credible information has emerged indicating that he was brutally beaten. Members of the so-called Public Security Service, part of the terrorist network, contacted Hamada’s family and demanded a ransom of $40,000 for his release.

The minimal aid that enters the coast is being disproportionately diverted to favored Sunni communities, leaving Alawite families with nothing, not even bread for Eid. In this war of deprivation, hunger has no religion. But history will remember who wielded it as a weapon.

The Alawi wanted to keep their #AlawiteState declared in 1920 when #France mandated by the Society of Nations declared the State of #GreaterLebanon (a poisoned gift to The #MaroniteNation that would have been much better off with the #MountLebanon of 1862.) and at same time in 1920 France declared the State of Aleppo and the State of Damascus and the State of The Druze. When France 🇫🇷 finance ministry insisted for lack of funds to finance these 4States insisting to federate them in the State of #Syria The Alawi leaders (Including Assad Granfather), begged to be added to Greater Lebanon, offering to the Maronite Patriarch Hoayek to convert massively to #MaroniteChristianity Rome (that should not have been asked), opposed that conversion, leaving the Alawites at the mercy of Syria’s Sunni majority that treated them historically as persecuted Kuffar (apostates) not as Moslems. The Assad family joined the Greater Syria Party that lost its Nazi Germany Sponsor, in WW1 and was adopted cynically by GB. As many Alawites they joined massively the Syrian Army for economic and for seeking fair treatment as second class citizens! A judicial problem that happened to Hafez Assad brother Rifaat, forced the two officers to join the Bahth Pan-Arab governing Party. That lead, after many military coups d’états to Hafez Assad governance of Syria in 1970. Now, with many occupying forces in Syria, and many revolutionary militias, the most prominent of them being that supported by Islamist Erdogan of Turkey, namely #HTS the last version of #ISIS specially designed for Syria and lead by a Syrian called by ISIS Al-Julani of Al-Nusra Militia. Now to become “fréquentable”, by the International Community that he’s expecting that it will rehabilitate him as non-terrorist lifting the ten $million bounty on his head; he decided to be called by his name Ahmad AlSharh. Fair enough but not enough to reassure Non Sunni Syrians⚠️ I happen to be convinced, that there is One Way to #SaveSyria that is to reset it bact to 1920 four States at least, with minor modification of maps, like giving access to the Mediterranean to the Sunni States, as in Latakia or elsewhere, in Sunni north of #Lebanon
