Obundsman Elvira #Azimova was appointed to the post of Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Kazakhstan.

Dear @EamonGilmore, as a human rights activist of @Elimay_kz movement, I myself addressed to ombudsman #Azimova during the politically motivated trial, I went on hunger strike to protest against the unjust decision & violation of the principle of publicity in the courts of 🇰🇿.
#Kazakhstan: Today I welcomed to Brussels the Ombudsperson of Kazakhstan, Ms Elvira Azimova. We exchanged on the reforms under way in Kazakhstan, the investigations following the events that occurred in January, and individual cases.
In #Kokshetau there was a closed court session. In January over Dinara #Galamshina.She spent more than a month in pre-trial detention,there were two children waiting for her at home,one of whom has a disability. #Azimova, lawyer spoke on the side of the prosecution @zoeller_chloe
