@archaeoresearch @TheEES Ooh, just like @JacksonEmmet I missed the deadline this time. #BEC4 was a great experience and some incredible work being presented.
Fingers crossed that attending this anything more than digitally will be possible this time round!

@Beket_Aten There was some discussions about scanning the obelisk at #BEC4, not sure how easy it would be to get drone flying permissions though, given its location!
Do not know what to say or how to express my feelings...I would like to thank all the organizers especially Dr. Cédric Gobeil, Dr. Carl Graves, and everyone who works on this fascinating conference. I am so grateful to your very warm welcom... very fruitful week I ever have #BEC4

If you're particularly interested in #ancientegypt collections, you may want to check #BEC4. There were many interesting presentations by curators at the British Egyptology Congress! #AskACurator

This weekend I’ve been at the Fourth British Egyptology Congress in Manchester. It was interesting to present outside the #digitalheritage sphere. Congratulations to @TheEES @OfficialUoM @knhcentremcr @CGraves88 for organising #BEC4. It was massive!
It was great to see so many of these at #BEC4 this weekend - now all @TheEES supporters are easy to spot! 👀 #charity #donors #supporters #fundraising

What a way to see out the end of the busiest week of the year!
#BEC4 has been a wonderful experience, and a credit to the organisers. A privilege to present, and an honour to stand alongside such an incredible body of speakers.
Thank you so much, roll on #BEC5!

Fantastic conference #BEC4 - thank you for the opportunity to present my research! Was a pleasure to be part of it and hear so many brilliant papers- congrats to all those who organised, job very well done! #egyptology #manchester
I've met so many Egyptologists, museum professionals and just generally incredible human beings this weekend at #BEC4. Feeling so inspired. Here's to #BEC5 in 2020 and bigger and better things in the meantime. @TheEES @OfficialUoM
Thanks to all those who came to #BEC4 - a superb weekend of Egyptologising. Special thinks to the director of @MuseoEgizio for setting the tone with his keynote

Alas, that’s a wrap for #BEC4. It’s been a great couple of days. So many wonderful talks on a wide range of interests.
The lecture by our egyptologist Valentina Santini: “Funerary private religion during the Amarna Age” at #BEC4 @TheEES @OfficialUoM

Project "Egyptian collection at Cyfarthfa Castle" sparked very interesting discussion among Egyptologist, museum professionals and wider interested public at #BEC4 organised by @TheEES and University of Manchester @UWTSD @VisitCyfarthfa
Loved @Monument_Men's talk about travellers' graffiti. Such a valuable source of information, including evidence of pre-excavation sand levels. Some have such meticulous planning behind them as well: definitely not "casual vandalism!" @TheEES @OfficialUoM #BEC4 #Egyptology
