May 22, 2017: Core Contributor James Hilliard publishes #Bip91 which is a hack on #Bit141 reducing the activation threshold from 95% to 80% so that #SegWit can activate without Bitmain & reduced signaling window from 2 weeks to 2 days so UASF Chain Split gets avoided.

In terms of annual returns, #XRP has given investors more than 2,000% in the last 12 months while #BTC has given about 1,300%. This doesn't take into consideration the #BIP91 & #BCC fork though.

95% lock-in is point of no return 100% lock-in is when #BIP91 and #BIP148 become redundant Activation is when apps can start using #SegWit
