Your doc may not be the best source of information about what else you need to do to manage your #bipolar. Find peers at @NAMICommunicate and @DBSAlliance for the rest of the story. Peers know stuff #BipolarClubDX #MentalHealthMatters

I’ve been stable (more or less) long enough that I’ve moved to the stage that this is what I have to work on when I do relapse. I keep imagining I’ve got #bipolar licked. I still feel the grief of this “remitting/recurring” thing. #BipolarClubDX

Setbacks or relapses in therapy are not failures, they are expected imperfections that are part of the process. They suck, avoid them when you can, but give yourself grace when you do prove to be imperfect #relapse #harmreduction #MentalHealthMatters #depression #anxiety #bipolar

Whirlwind trip to San Francisco to deliver a thing I have worked on and lived in #anxiety about for a year. Dropped it off Wednesday morning. The rest of the trip I was - present. In the moment. Enjoying myself. An odd experience. #BipolarClubDX

❤️my sister at my hospital in East end-spoke to the clerk in mental health ward &advocated to get to my psych re:my withdrawal, readjusted the clerks 2nd use of, "you people".Sis gave her floor, office ext &pager if the clerk has "issues".Angels DO exist🙏#stigma #bipolarclubdx

Got the help I needed yesterday, This young Dr. saw the withdrawal signs, never used the preface "you people" making me feel awful🙏like my own hospital in the East. Got a renewal on controlled substance until Mon when my psych is back-Still in bed today #stigma #bipolarclubdx

Going thru withdrawal. waiting to see Dr. in emerg need someone for controlled substance:can't make it east. a repeat on my prescription is missing.IDK what's worse, the withdrawal or being addressed as "you people"in the mental outpatient ward by a clerk. #stigma #bipolarclubdx
