Not sure if heโs on here, but Iโll never forget prof Emmanuel Adepo, an amazing and inspiring teacher who always had time to talk about math even after I finished his calc 3 class. I aspire to be as great a teacher for my students as he was for me. #BlackInMathEd

Lauren Stevenson had a major impact on me while I student taught at R.L. Turner. Her pedagogical practices and careful mentorship have stayed with me, and her ability to build rapport with her students while not compromising her leadership role was inspiring. #BlackInMathEd

Oh hello, is it me youโre looking for? Black Math teacher/educator here! Based in Brooklyn! Currently in my 4th year of teaching and teaching 8th grade for the first time! I worked before as a Math tutor with ALL ages and volunteered all over #BlackinMathEd #BlackInMathWeek
I had Ms Watson at 3 years old that worked on higher Math with me. She believed in me and just had a joy of when her students got Math. She also could sniff out Mathematicians at young ages! She had me doing multiplication at 4 years old. Crazy but I appreciate her #BlackinMathEd
