It has moved into a hidden and complex arena where the wealth of an entire people is being stolen and funneled through networks of shell companies, suspicious currency-exchange offices, political brokers, and money-laundering fronts. These networks can transform stolen Iraqi wealth into a financial lifeline for Iranian-backed militias and into vast, opaque economic structures serving foreign agendas and regional domination. Every Iraqi dinar that is looted and funneled into these networks does not simply disappear. It can be transformed into: • Massive salaries and financial resources used to support armed militia factions operating outside the authority of the state, fueling corruption, violence, and destruction across Iraq. • Financial and economic empires controlled by networks linked to politicized religious institutions and the Iranian regime, seeking to weaken the Iraqi state, undermine its sovereignty, and sever its Arab ties. We address this historic appeal to the Arab and Gulf states, and to every conscious voice, journalist, public figure, and member of the Arab elite who believes that Iraq’s security is an inseparable part of Arab national security: BEWARE OF THESE FRONT NETWORKS. EXPOSE THEIR FINANCIAL STRUCTURES. AND REJECT INVESTMENT, COMMERCIAL, AND BANKING DEALINGS THAT TURN IRAQ’S WEALTH INTO FUEL FOR VIOLENCE, CORRUPTION, AND DESTRUCTION. Iraq is not a prize to be looted in order to finance regional expansion.
