I didn't realise that these American initiatives like the Mandela Washington Fellowship create numbskulls out of African youths. It is very clear that #CAA3 did not require a referendum but here is a local made-in-America youth insisting on one for political attention & relevance
The Zimbabwean Constitution belongs to the citizens, not to ED Mnangagwa or Zanu pf. Bypassing constitutional safeguards on key amendments without public consent is a direct attack on democracy.

Rogue elements from the opposition camp and civil society have planned to stage violent demonstrations following the enactment of the people-driven law, that is CAA3 on the 31st of July, in violation of the Zimbabwean law.
Public violence and participating in a gathering with intent to promote public violence are serious crimes enshrined in Sections 36 and 37 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act [Chapter 9:23], respectively. They attract up to 10 years imprisonment.

They wont change anything but still the regime must respect their rights.
