With research showing that simply opening a window could lessen the amount of harmful bacteria in hospital rooms, should we look towards alternative ways to soothe illness caused by pathogens? One such way being by introducing healthy bacteria through probiotics.

Disinfecting everything that we can in the hospital also kills beneficial microbes and leave no competition for the harmful microbes. Maybe we need to just open a window to allow some beneficial microbes into the mix. Or we can just give everyone a puppy.🐾 #CSUBmicrobiome
