Alongside @polscotrpu Edinburgh we have carried out an #OpClosePass in the area. PC Fraser clocked up 21 miles using the police bike! A number of drivers were stopped and given a #ChatOnTheMat. Remember to always give a cyclist a minimum of 1.5m when passing them. #SaferSouth

Officers from @polscotrpu were in #Kirkintilloch & surrounding areas with @SFRSYourSafety educating road users on passing cyclists safely as part of #OpClosePass. Unfortunately a few had to have a #ChatOnTheMat for not giving enough room. 3 were also stopped for speeding.
