They face these high fees because there are no alternatives, or if they receive remittances from a foreign country, they lose 50% of the purchasing power due to the national fixed exchange rate.
Worldwide, we're seeing governments devalue their currencies overnight, sometimes by as much as 90%. As a result, people are losing 90% of their savings overnight.
#Bitcoin is a censorship-resistant currency that no state or other entity can inflate or use to steal the purchasing power of your savings. Additionally, there is no discrimination in Bitcoin; everyone is simply a node in the decentralized network.
If you say Bitcoin has no use case for you, please first check your financial privileges. Perhaps you are a person living in the West, with access to a bank account and financial services, and a relatively stable fiat currency (for now).
