If we have the huge amount on hand to match what you’ve been talking about, we’ve enough on hand to fix many problems WHO are these entities ? WHAT is the matching $ for ? WHY is the matching $ not being applied directly to City problems ? We know what it seems like that you & yours are up to … There’s plenty of Tax $ to fix things if it isn’t spent on projects that make a lot of $ for the few & impoverish the quality of life in the city for the many Crime won’t go away because it’s bad PR for you MPD is infiltrated with street gangs & there’s no one in charge exercising effective command authority The only blue uniforms your Chief of Police Davis seems like she might manage are Cub Scouts—as a den-mother—certainly not as the Chief for the otherwise fine Memphis cops There’re street gangs & young thugs out there that you DON’T have a clue how to redirect & manage Memphis is the Murder/Car-jacking/break-in capital of America MLG&H₂O is a mess The streets are filthy There are City commitments to spend enormous amounts of $ on unnecessary luxuries that you authored Your 1st one hundred days in office have been an abject failure in correcting the City problems Do better At least get in the streets yourself—if that isn’t too frightful—& find out what’s going on Oh by the way … Only a small % of the people live Downtown & in Mid-Town … & we see how most of the City $ is going there (& not to the rest of the town where everybody else lives) There’s a lot of negative to Memphis right now It would be most excellent if the City could actually see a general improvement instead of anomalous statistical spikes that are seized upon as false positives while the City rots Let’s not even mention your pushing to drastically raise property taxes … a thing most of us sense is to provide more tax $ for you & yours to misappropriate You wanted to ride this bull … You’ve already been bucked off—get back on it & tame it—if you can ‘The Piper will be Paid’ … eventually
