Since senior citizens have the highest rates in suicide, there has to be a focus put towards nursing homes. Providing easier access to psychologists/therapy will improve their overall well-being. #cofcDevsci

Very interesting hearing about mindfulness training in high schools in the lecture we watched by @ldsteinberg , I’m curious as to how religious based high schools(like the Catholic one I went to)have done this in their own traditional way by means of prayer/meditation #CofCDevSci

I think that the task force that was put in place to promote self esteem in children is ridiculous. It is great to prompt high self esteem among children but too high self esteem can potentially cause negative behaviors among children. #cofcDevsci

I would assume that teachers would have an equal impact on all there students because they are all being taught the same information the same way. However it is proven that teachers have a greater impact on low rather than high achieving students. #cofcdevsci

In class, when we completed the true or false worksheet, it was really mind opening to me that all of questions were false. The one that stood out to me the most was that the DARE programs are not effective at reducing drug use among children and adolescents. #CofCDevSci
