Why is it that, #foreign #policy #commentariat is unable to understand the meaning of, “illegal occupation of China since 1960,” and has to be reminded every other month. Is it ignorance or malice?
The Govts are moving on, but the “#foreign #policy #commentariat” (with limited knowledge of India-USA FP history & role of Russia & Pakistan in it) is unable to do so. A fair presentation of history, giving each cntry’s justification for what it did, would help clear the air.
This is like a metaphor for US-India rel -- the two govts want to move on, but the ghost of 1971/USS Enterprise persists.
