@bgtennisnation @drseanmullen So glad you understand that #CovidIsAirborne, Brad. If you'd like to augment your efforts to breathe #VirusFreeAir, then take a look at some of these innovators:
@NukitToBeSure β #FarUV lamps
@micro_climate β #ConsumerGradePAPR
@Engineer_Wong β travel #CorsiRosenthalBoxes
@RedIsND @BarryHunt008 I use a #ConsumerGradePAPR with available source-control, and when I'm around others using a respirator, I cinch it up. If public health policy ever "meets me where people like me are," then I'll be happy to apply a stricter regimen. Until then, the unmasked are on their own.
@PaintedHorse14 Still avoid...
I feel that people whose budget accommodates air travel typically can invest in a #ConsumerGradePAPR, like the Air.2 from @micro_climate, but it's sold out and the Air.3 is delayed. If needs must, I'd get ~a Scosche mini-HEPA, a USB battery, and wear a hoodie.

@dgurdasani1 @micro_climate There's actually a fair bit to unpack on what I call the #ConsumerGradePAPR. As a matter of moral imperative, this tech needs to be available to the immuno-compromised for safe access to healthcare facilities. But even the reasonable $300 puts the Air.3 out of reach for...
@DavidSteadson @BarryHunt008 @Prescientx1 @flo_mask ...the shortsighted gov choice to give the entire contract to 3m. For example, we have a robust #ConsumerGradePAPR that's kept me safe, but is beyond budget for many who need one most. With PH and govs refusing to #SayCovidIsAirborne, demand is artificially suppressed, and...
Had an equivalent encounter about my #ConsumerGradePAPR β woman in a baggy-blue was intrigued to discover gear like the Air.2 and CleanSpace2 are available for her cancer patient daughter. Even if they don't make that investment, she did agree they need to #WearARespirator.

Extremely heartening encounter I just had: I was out with my kid and a woman wearing a surgical mask came up to us and said, βExcuse me do you mind if I ask where she got that mask?β motioning to my kidβs @flo_mask. I told her what it was and that they make adult sizes 1/5
@FinchTH I'd like to believe it's a well-funded initiative to advance the accessibility to a #ConsumerGradePAPR for all clinically vulnerable households...

@SmartAirFilters Awh β didn't expect you all to be laughing. It's the Air.2 #ConsumerGradePAPR from https://t.co/E4UEOaPZst, and it is a fantastic piece of kit: positive pressure hepa-filtered airflow with source control. The only thing I'd change is to provide a shroud that sits above the ears.
@slumkoski That's what #ForcedHyperEndemicism is all about: transferring the risk and cost entirely to the individual.
What we're left is to draw on our own resources/ingenuity get as close as we can to PAPR-level protection (#PAPRbuggy, rechargeable mini-#CRbox, #ConsumerGradePAPR...).

@YouAreLobbyLud @lisa_iannattone I'm still happily grocery shopping in my Air.2 #ConsumerGradePAPR from @micro_climate, but I did just note that the price of the @CleanSpace-2 seems to have dropped dramatically...

@shoshanahjacobs @flo_mask We haven't had to fly yet, but when that day comes, we have a [breathe], a [breathe]β2, a mini-HEPA from Scoche, and, my preferred positive-pressure supply of virus-free air, the Air.2 #ConsumerGradePAPR from https://t.co/E4UEOaPZst.

Funny thing β I was stopped by a Costco worker who was intrigued by my #ConsumerGradePAPR from https://t.co/E4UEOaQxi1. He loved that it enabled him to lip read without issue...

@ToshiAkima @cleanspacehc Again, for those who don't have the ~$2k to drop on the excellent Halo, there's the Air.2 β an equally excellent #ConsumerGradePAPR from @micro_climate (https://t.co/E4UEOaPZst) for US$300.
@drDavidKeegan What it should say is that our governments have decided that they will do less and less to help us avoid SARS-2 infection. We're opting out of that immoral choice by investing in #CanadianElastomerics and a #ConsumerGradePAPR...

#WhereAreTheBillionaires?
#FreeN95sForAll and a #ConsumerGradePAPR for every clinically vulnerable person.
