🧵Recent Allegations against #Dalkom Ltd are FALSE following investigation by @horufadhi_media & @SuleimanHashi Let’s unravel the recent accusation made by a media organisation that #Dalkom Ltd is co-owned by NISA chief, Mahad Salad & is obtaining FGS support to monopolise the telecommunications industry. Firstly, the report claims that Dalkom has exclusive control over 5G data from #Huawei and use image 1 (attached below) as evidence. The reality is this is far from the truth. In fact, Hormuud also has a direct relationship with #Huawei (image 2) among other companies. This indicates there is no monopoly of technologies as claimed. Furthermore, following investigations, we found that Mahad Salad has nothing to do with this company, nor does the FGS. It’s a private company that is co-owned by Somalis from both north & south. #Somalia (1/2)

Allegations of corruption by @SomaliaNCA have emerged regarding two telecommunications attempting to monopolise the 5G network in #Somalia. Utilising govt powers with alleged involvement of NISA Chief, the NCA has forced #HUAWEI into signing a contract with #Dalkom Ltd. I kindly ask the Chinese Ambassador @FeiShengchao to look further into this!
