Always be #discipling along life’s everyday interactions and activities. Thats the essence of the Deuteronomy 6:4-9 #childdiscipleship passage, methinks. Some of the big lessons for heading to the #beach with the original Perbi Cubs on a Monday afternoon were:
1. Heck! Who says the beach is for the weekends or holidays only?
2. You don’t have to hate #Mondays. If you #discover your unique, God-given #purpose and depending on how you intentionally #design your life, not only can you say “Thank God It’s Monday” every week (not just #TGIF), you actually could be living out “Thank God It’s Anyday!” [Eg. We #homeschool by intentional #choice and #design.]
3. Aim for #financialfreedom. Often it’s the reason most people can’t do what they want when they want to, be it golf on Monday morning or the beach on a Wednesday aternoon.
Aha! aaaand the family tried to bury me at the beach yesterday o 😅 They didn’t know I had a Masterplan:
1. A life lesson that you can’t keep a blessed man down! LOL and
2. A practical preparation this lent to better appreciate the #Easter story of the #death and resurrection of #Yeshua. (Except the part where I became a ghost upon resurrection and chased them all into the sea!!🤣😅🏃🏿)
Interestingly, that morning our #FamilyAltar passage was about Jesus’s beach picnic after resurrection. It seems we are becoming more and more like Jesus. #DiscipleShip Don’t you think?! lol 😂

Sometimes, one wonders how much of all the #training (#discipling) of the #cubs is actually sinking in until they spring up unexpected things like a surprise breakfast-in-bed for Mother’s Day. Even father got collateral benefit. 😇
They not only cut and cooked, mixed a jar of cold chocolate and garnished all the food themselves, they ensured that all the food groups were present, including fruits and veggies. And dessert.
God #bless #mothers and mother figures this day, including grandmamas and mothers-in-love. May all your training pay off!
