What is the market value of being able to deliver energy, before scarcity exists?
#dKWh
@kyle__cb @theEnergyMads #dKWh is borderless electricity.
The dKWh, or delivery kilowatt-hour, is a new type of electricity unit that represents not just energy itself, but the ability to deliver that energy through the grid.
The electricity markets price energy or capacity, day-ahead or real-time; they never price access.
What our market trades isn’t scarcity of energy, it’s scarcity of delivery.

@xiaowang1984 Fixed costs strike again.
Eventually we will realize energy has no value on the edge.
Delivery Capacity needs a price.
#dKWh
The real missing market is for distribution delivery capacity, not energy.
To fix this, we need to virtualize distribution capacity without pretending the physical system & energy is fully observable or price-controllable. #dKWh

📌 TL;DR
Decentralized markets can’t handle physical externalities or unknown capacity.
So don’t force them.
Virtualize the problem. Price the risk. Let the market trade the shadow.
