#Batukeshwar #Dutt ....ભારતના મહાન ક્રાંતિકારી સ્વાતંત્ર્ય સેનાની હતા. તેમનો જન્મ 18 નવેમ્બર, 1910ના રોજ બંગાળના બર્દવાન જિલ્લામાં થયો હતો. તેઓ શહીદ ભગતસિંહના નજીકના સાથી હતા અને ભારતને અંગ્રેજોના શાસનમાંથી મુક્ત કરાવવા માટે ક્રાંતિકારી પ્રવૃત્તિઓમાં સક્રિય રહ્યા હતા.
8 એપ્રિલ, 1929ના રોજ તેમણે ભગતસિંહ સાથે મળીને દિલ્હીની કેન્દ્રીય વિધાનસભામાં બોમ્બ ફેંક્યો હતો. આ બોમ્બનો હેતુ કોઈની હત્યા કરવાનો નહોતો, પરંતુ અંગ્રેજ સરકાર સામે વિરોધ વ્યક્ત કરીને ભારતીયોની માંગણીઓ તરફ ધ્યાન દોરવાનો હતો.
બોમ્બ ફેંક્યા પછી બંનેએ ભાગવાનો પ્રયાસ કર્યો નહોતો અને સ્વેચ્છાએ પોતાની ધરપકડ કરાવી હતી.
તેમને આજીવન કેદની સજા ફટકારવામાં આવી હતી અને તેમને અંડમાનની સેલ્યુલર જેલમાં મોકલવામાં આવ્યા હતા, જ્યાં તેમણે અત્યંત કઠિન યાતનાઓ સહન કરી હતી.
સ્વાતંત્ર્ય પછી તેઓ લાંબા સમય સુધી આર્થિક અને આરોગ્ય સંબંધિત મુશ્કેલીઓનો સામનો કરતા રહ્યા.
તેમનું અવસાન 20 જુલાઈ, 1965ના રોજ દિલ્હીમાં થયું હતું.
બટુકેશ્વર દત્તનું જીવન દેશભક્તિ, ત્યાગ અને નિઃસ્વાર્થ સેવાનું ઉત્તમ ઉદાહરણ છે. ભગતસિંહ જેટલા પ્રસિદ્ધ ન બન્યા હોવા છતાં, ભારતના સ્વાતંત્ર્ય સંગ્રામમાં તેમનું યોગદાન અત્યંત મહત્વપૂર્ણ અને અવિસ્મરણીય છે. @BJP4Gujarat @ratnakar273 @iJagdishBJP
