1/ I wonder how the @DPCIreland investigation into YouTube is going. TLDR: YouTube is going to extraordinary lengths to detect the use of adblocking tech that skips YT ads & then blocking access to the video unless the user disables adblocking (cos #DataVampires gotta feed)
Today I filed a formal complaint against @YouTube with the @DPCIreland for their illegal deployment of #adblock detection technologies on the basis that such a deployment requires #consent under Article 5(3) of 2002/58/EC.
