@Anda19 Is research still going? I wonder if you managed a conversation with @Marese_MTU ? Lots of passion about impact of #developmentalconversations #coaching and #studentstaffpartnerships #learningcommunities in #academicdevelopment
Can't wait to see what emerges from your work 🧐
I haven't listened to this yet but already like it!
The Humanism-not-lack idea helps to explain why I see #therapy and #coaching as similar, and why I talk about both as #developmentalconversations. Neither is about lack. Each is about how /what do you want to do / be.
Ep 68 of #musictherapyconversations is out. @musicallman and I spoke at about the theme of #emtc2022, critical humanism, and #musictherapy training. ‘We’re doing music therapy because of people’s humanity’, not because of what people lack’. https://t.co/6C4avs8nB4
❓How do you prepare students for assessments/feedback❓
Our @TLU_MTU 'TLU Weekly' is trialing a #crowdsource article. Figured we'd aim for🌟inputs in/beyond

#DevelopmentalConversations need not be entirely in words - and can serve the developmental needs of more than one party at the same time. Here is a nice illustration:

As we prepare for #efey2022...imagine this holds true now still, Jim?
I'd say the building has an even stronger foundation...and perhaps growing taller or perhaps an extension over the past few years? #developmentalconversations #MTU_TLASE #LearningCommunities
"If you build it, they will come" says @jimfromcork in talking about successful culture of learning communities at @efye2019 in @CIT_ie Great ideas. Great support. @CIT_TLU #EFYE2019 #EmpowerCX @CITmaths @Marese_CIT
A real thirst from colleagues across @MTU_ie & beyond for #LearningCommunities. Starting in 2019, with a target for 5 new communities each year. Aim was 25 by 2023. Already 30+ in 2021/22. Power&impact of #TLASEConversationsMTU #distributedleadership #developmentalconversations

#thisiswhatatherapistlookslike: morning coffee on a city break in Madrid, back in 2019. @Dturner300's brilliant initiative to challenge the perception that counsellors/psychotherapists are a different breed. Therapy = two real human beings in a room together, focusing on one.
Key takeaway: True leadership is given to those who do not seek it.

Interesting. How endings are initiated and negotiated in open-ended psychotherapies. A concerted process.

Negotiating ruptures in the therapeutic alliance is central to the change process but when does the ending begin in open-ended work? This study explores how the decision to end treatment is negotiated and experienced within the psychotherapy relationship. https://t.co/kGkQrp8lkv
Nice vignette into the #therapy world. Therapists have to adapt all the time to their patient's situation and communication, but not usually when their own secure base is as challenged as it is now.
