“After a short break at Frogmore House, they went to the Royal Burial Ground, essentially a garden in the shadow of Queen Victoria’s mausoleum where, since 1928, most members of the Royal Family have been buried and where, when at Windsor, the late Queen often walked, knowing as she did so many who lay under the flat stones. There the Dean of Windsor presided and the duchess was laid to rest near Prince George and Princess Marina, and Sir Angus Ogilvy (husband of Princess Alexandra). As a tribute to #DukeofKent on his 90th birthday and in memory of the gracious #DuchessofKent, I'm happy to share some pix of them from the 1990s. The pic with Cardinal Basil Hume was taken when Katharine was accepted into the R. Cath. Church at Westminster Cathedral in 1994
