@brownecfm I had H1N1, it was awful and nearly killed me. Took 2 years to recover. One #Covid infection almost did thr same, got #LongCovid #EBV reactivated, then Dx w/ #ENKTL #Lymphoma. I'm not taking ANY chances w/ a potential H5N1. I doubt I'd survive.

I got “lucky” enough to have a very straight forward case where my #mecfs, #pots, #mcas was brought on directly after an EBV infection so it was a very clean picture of what the underlying driver is
With #COVID reactivating #EBV and other virus’ I suspect that EBVs preferential infection of autoreactive B cells is at the core of these cluster of illnesses while COVID and other diseases that increase autoreactive B cell survival like strep help lay the groundwork for the EBV to create lasting damage
