@JMFernandesEU and @ValerieHayer have already finished the work on behalf of the @Europarl_EN.
We the @EPPGroup are supporting the introduction of #EUOwnResources. It is the right path for European funding. Now, we expect the @EUCouncil to adopt a decision that will make European funds more transparent.

By introducing #EUOwnResources, member states can dial down their direct contributions to the #EUbudget.
This will allow us to pay back the #NextGenerationEU transparently. It will also allow us to equally share EU revenues between member states.
We call on @Europarl_EN & @EUCouncil to adopt new #EUOwnResources for #EUBudget before the end of this political term.

📣 structural modernisation of the own resources system;
📣 reduced Gross National Income-based contributions.
