Is AI just a parrot machine, or will AGI actually challenge our humanity one day? Let’s take a look at the potential for inhumanity in humans, both today and in the past -wars, mutual exploitation, genocides, invasions.#Eu_Ai_Act #AGI @elonmusk
EU AI Act Article 14 requires that a human is equipped "with appropriate human-machine interface tools" in order to oversee an AI system. This is a design requirement, not policy or documentation. Get started on your compliance today.

Curious about where unlearning stands with regulations? check out our new preprint w/ Bill Marino and @niclane7
While debates about unlearning efficacy for compliance remain high-level, we take a deep dive into #EU_AI_ACT and map out where exactly unlearning can be useful.

The @EU_Commission sent formal requests to very large online search engines and platforms for information about how they mitigate generative AI risks to electoral processes and more.
The regulatory impact of the #DSA may be larger than the #EU_AI_Act on generative AI in Europe.

The #EU_AI_Act requires General Purpose AI #GPAI systems with "systemic risks" to assess and mitigate those risks.
Will Europe avoid this trap when implementing the Act?👇
Imagine you look up a recipe on Google, and instead of providing results, it lectures you on the "dangers of cooking" and sends you to a restaurant.
The people who think poisoning AI/GPT models with incoherent "safety" filters is a good idea are a threat to general computation.
Link naar de gelekte finale versie vd #EU_AI_Act. 👇
LEAK: On Friday, 🇧🇪 presidency shared the analysis of the final text on the #AIAct. It's rather detailed, providing an overview of the main changes to the text and their meaning. Meanwhile, back-room manoeuvring is increasing ahead of COREPER. 1/6

Exact.

Exciting news for the future of AI and inclusivity!
The #EU_AI_Act emphasizes data quality and bias mitigation, advocating for transparent and traceable data. It promotes diverse, high-quality datasets to prevent bias and discrimination.
