The #Eildons, Trimontium for the #Romans who built a signal station on Eildon North. The hillfort, capital of the Selgovae, was occupied from at least 1000 BC. The #IronAge axeheads at our museum were found in Mid-Eildon. @NtlMuseumsScot
'Light On The Moor' Inspired by one of my favourite walking places - Lauder Common. I believe it's the largest piece of common land in Scotland. The birds depict Golden Plovers, a stunning sight at this time of the year as they swoop by, catching the light from the sun.#eildons
