Worth noting that $50 million "annual" investment in data systems pre-pandemic was annual...for one year. Prior to FY 2019, there was NO dedicated investment in system modernization...

BUILD THE ENTERPRISE. Disease specific, fragmented popups exacerbate challenges. Need streamlined, interoperable data superhighway to support surveillance of ALL diseases and conditions--existing and emerging! This is the only way. Congress agrees.
