To my colleagues who associate with @CollegeBoard & @ACT - take this recent gaming scandal as an oppty to end the use of SAT/ACT in admissions. Perhaps the tests were well intended but they are perpetuating a wealth advantage & undervaluing low-income students. #DroptheSAT
Another one for the #ENDtheSAT #ENDtheACT movement. Discriminates against lower-income & working class students, disproportionately negatively impact students of color, and rich/wealthy pay their way to better grades. It doesn’t have to be this way. We know how to do better!
