Congratulations to #Station28 for winning a PBCFR #LifeSavingAward for a call that started out with a vehicle striking a fire hydrant & ended with a rescue from a sinking car. #Engine28 and #Rescue28 rescued a person from inside the van before it went further into the water.

#PBCFR crew from #Battalion2 responded to a dog locked in vehicle. #Firefighters found a vehicle not running on a hot and humid day. #Engine28 was able to quickly unlock the vehicle and rescue the dog. The crew did a dog-gone good job. #WellDone #AlwaysReady #DogRescue #Station28

#PBCFR crews from #Battalion2 #Station28 responded to reports of a cat in a tree. #Engine28 arrived to find the cat’s owner attempting to rescue his cat. #Firefighters took over the cat rescue and after a few attempts were able to make a purrfect rescue.

#TeamPBCFR #Engine28 recently performed a very unique rescue. Firefighters were challenged with a kitten trapped in the rear axle under an SUV. The crew safely got the frightened & overheated kitten out, gave it fresh water, and helped it locate a forever home. Great Job!
