****I just repeated the process****:
1 Get a quote for round-trip air = $975.
2 Add seats (includes $469 fee's for premium seats) =Total Trip cost $1,444.
3 @AmericanAir
says they never received seat reservations from Expedia.
4 Ask @ExpediaHelp
for itemized receipt from booking.
5 #expedia tells you they don't have record of seats or #TotalSeatChoiceFees; they don't keep that information.
6 You realize they purposely absorb that fee into the "Base airfare" cost so they get a bigger #Commission from the #airlines!!
7 This is called #Rackateering!!!
