Cannot emphasize this enough. Every single lawsuit against student debt relief or better repayment plans hinge on right-wing legal arguments that one specific student loan servicer, MOHELA, will be harmed.

Mohela just sent me a repayment schedule change letter and 1. moved my recertification date up sooner by 4 months, and 2. moved me onto a different IDR plan without my knowledge or consent. So much for pushing our due dates back 6 months if on SAVE forbearance.

Reminder that I am still accruing 6.38 % interest on student loans that are in blocked SAVE forbearance with Mohela. 0% interest was not applied. They took 6 months to process my IDR request and put me back in forbearance long before SAVE was blocked 🧵
