@Airam_Rguez #WSTC8 #ForSesh2 Thanks @Airam_Rguez! The Bulwer´s petrel populations of Canary Is. and Madeira archipelagos together are much larger than the one of Cabo Verde, which could explain why petrels from the first two archipelagos travel further to avoid competition.

2/4 #WSTC8 #ForSesh2 Based on ~1500 GPS trips from #Petrels breeding in 4 colonies from 2017-2021, #Seabirds foraged almost exclusively on oceanic waters. Spatial segregation was found between archipelagos and may reflect different environmental conditions between both regions.
