Awfa is free #FreeAwfaa thanks goes to the women’s movement, and the mediation efforts of @OSE_Yemen, i am very grateful and my hope in the peace process is restored @antonioguterres. Thanks to everyone who contributed on one way or another to support her release.

كلما مر الوقت دون اتخاذ خطوات قانونية جادة ضد الأمن العبثي الذي يسيطر عليه الحوثيون في # صنعاء جراء اعتقال ممثلة منظمة سيفرورلد #FreeAwfaa يصبح المتمردين أكثر عدوانية ضد النساء / الشباب يتم هدر الأجيال بأيديهم الدامية إما في السجون أو المعارك!

While we are still calling for women to participate in the peace negotiations,we are shocked a woman peace builder as Awfa in prison.This is the greatest threat to make #sustainable #peace. The international community should protect women to fulfill its commitments. #FreeAwfaa

To me her release is a symbol of success of this peace process. If the international community cannot contribute to the release of a woman peacemaker, then just leave #Yemen alone and stop taking a salary for no result whatsoever.
