Top Tweets for #GSEUtility
@pulte @pulte Running these companies like businesses! This is where some media & wonks get lost in this "ending conservatorship is dangerous". F2 are efficient.
Agility & innovation outside of c-ship!
Unlock the value of F2 for US SWF or other homeownership programs! #GSEutility
@Alec_Mazo @joelight #GSEUtility is the proper framework
To do MBS right, there needs to be a national scope, diversifying geography & large scale. This keeps cost low. Further, profits are managed like water & electricity. This supports the operation, w/stable income for investors while costs low!
@pulte I love how Director @pulte is out in front of the media, letting people know that @FHFA is not a bureaucracy filled w/ pencil pushers. They are looking out for Americans & not afraid to be transparent.
When #GSEUtility becomes a reality, ppl will trust it will work (for them)!
@usnavycmdr @pulte
Facts:
1. C-ship was never meant to be permanent
2. Taxpayer & shareholders will benefit from release
3. #GSEUtility = oversight with accountability
@FHFA has many guardrails in place to disprove any (ANY!) suggestion that 2008 repeats - even so, it was not GSE fault!
Can't believe irrelevance of writers & article. Like a couple of Karens, "Well, we just think you are horrible".
Bad economics & math!
What is horrible. 17 yrs of abuse by @FHFA @USTreasury w
1. Backdoor bailout TBTF
2. 10% usury on "loan"

@HousingWire Sort of like Maxine Waters having a wish-list for $150B for Housing @USTreasury can get with @FHFA @SherrodBrown @PatrickMcHenry - Senate & House just need to release Fannie & Freddie #GSEUtility
@DoNotLose Isn't everyone talking about affordable housing?
Isn't @USTreasury always talking to banks?
While the GSEs might be in the picture #GSEUtility discussion might be a bit of a stretch. But, here's hoping we get our #FreeBritney moment, as #FreeFannie hasn't been in the media!
Well @FHFA Sandra Thompson. I hear cicadas outside my window. 15 years is a very long time.
@HouseGOP @HouseDemocrats @SenateBanking
You've got 1 job. Corker, Warner, Barney Frank, etc. etc. No idea how to resolve. Pretty EZ

There is no reason for these companies to be in conservatorship and even less reason to try to change their (ahem, not-failed) business model.
They work.
#GSEUtility
@tim_rood_ @fabiancstrjn Yes. Fantastic. The consensus builds for release.
#GSEUtility makes all the sense in the world. As chair of BOD, she probably would have known about Craig Phillips & Mnuchin's efforts to roadshow offerings.
Would have been nice to hear from her abt how close those efforts came.
@FinancialCmte @PatrickMcHenry Hard to make sense of your facts and fiction.
1.GSEs are big. Were big. Still big. So what. Spoiler: they operate like #GSEUtility which what they s/b called.
2.GSEs were never 'nationalized'. Shareholders still waiting for their fair share; not nationalized b/c BK not good end!
My planner had this entry for yesterday, and I hope the @USTreasury @FHFA @SheilaBair2013 have their acts together and are penalized points by Congress.
@SenSherrodBrown liked the GSE plans to make #GSEUtility, I think.
@tim_rood_ Yes @tim_rood Excellent work. IMO, #GSEUtility has been the way forward, and in retrospect, the way backward, as well.
Regulated pricing? Duty-to-serve & help for those who can't pay bills? Quasi-private? Sounds like ComEd to me!
@rcwhalen @SEC @SenWarren @AOC We've had 12 years of trying to 'fix' a problem that never existed w/GSEs. All chatter is now about #GSEUtility which I've supported for yrs. There is very low risk on the mortgage guarantee biz since house prices (generally) tick up & w/decent down payment, safe for all players!
@CGasparino Never misses an opportunity to "slip" and say "receivership"... truly every time! They were put into conservatorship & as Bruce Berkowitz reminds-"I open up the paper everyday & see them trading". Never taken over (legally, anyways), so always private cos. #GSEUtility
@ACGAnalytics @ethan2369 @FHFA @CGasparino I guess thats only you, he still thinks they are in receivership and still thinks they tanked our economy. #fanniegate

@DoNotLose @POTUS @Stevenmnuchin1 @MarkCalabria it’s @PulitzerPrizes nominated @CGasparino vs the #FANNIEGATE #Trolls, who will be right? “GSE’S Are Bound To Roll" https://t.co/tCstr9hh0b via @YouTube #FHFA #Altfolk #GSEUtility #GSEReform #FNMA #FMCC #Housing #USA #economy #stocks #markets
@timpagliara @SenSherrodBrown @SenWarren Yes, Senators on Dem side should understand the loss-ratio for #GSEUtility is miniscule, esp. compared to the corrupt #TBTF plan which would gauge (potential) homeowners w/ 'profit-motive-free-market' Liz should know this. How can mortgage rates be 3% & credit card 22%
@JohnDee78791547 @CGasparino Yes, thanks Charlie. All the #Fanniegater crowd does appreciate, even if ornery at times. #GSEUtility will fill the bill; private capital, paid-for explicit guarantee, open to competition (but who'll be able to comply w/capital rules, nationwide, etc.) Free Fannie in free market!
