Group1 aspirants from Telangana held a press meet in Delhi demanding that the @TelanganaCMO and TGPSC abolish the unconstitutional #GO29, which violates the Rule of Reservation and marginalizes underprivileged communities.
@RahulGandhi ji talks about "Samvidhan Bachao", but his own party @INCTelangana is undermining the Constitution in Telangana. He claims they will remove the 50% reservation cap, yet they are unable to properly implement even the existing reservation system. The aspirants urged the people of India to take note of the @INCIndia double standards. @RahulGandhi ji why are you silent on GO29 and the injustices happening in the Group1 exam?
The Group1 aspirants have been fighting against this unconstitutional GO29 for the past eight months. They urged the judiciary not to dismiss the petitions merely on the grounds of late filing but to examine the constitutionality of GO29.
They also raised serious concerns about the evaluation process of the Group1 Mains papers. Gross injustice has been done to Telugu medium candidates due to improper evaluation. The aspirants questioned the irregularities in the evaluation process and demanded a judicial inquiry into the Group1 Mains evaluation.
The aspirants reiterated that this Government was formed primarily due to the support of aspirants and the student community of Telangana. They reminded the people that they voted for the Congress party believing it would provide jobs in a fair and transparent manner—but in reality, the party has betrayed the aspirants. People supported the Congress not just because of @RahulGandhi ji or @revanth_anumula ji but because of the hopes and struggles of aspirants and students.
If this unconstitutional GO29 is not abolished, they warned, the Congress party will be wiped out from Telangana. They are also seeking a meeting with the Hon'ble President of India @rashtrapatibhvn and the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India @PMOIndia to explain the irregularities in the Group1 exam and to demand the abolition of GO29.

The Group1 aspirants of Telangana have been tirelessly fighting against the unconstitutional #GO29, which violates the Rule of Reservation and marginalizes underprivileged communities, for the past eight months. In a bold move to garner national attention, the Group1 aspirants have now reached Delhi to present their grievances to the national media and key political figures.
The Congress government in Telangana @INCTelangana is deliberately engaging in diversion tactics to shift focus from the alleged irregularities in the Group1 recruitment process. These issues include:
1. The Group1 exam scam
2. Loopholes in the examination process
3. Unfair evaluation of the Group1 Mains papers
4. Discrimination against Telugu-medium candidates
5. Suppression of the GO29 controversy
In light of these concerns, the aspirants are seeking an appointment with senior Congress leader @RahulGandhi ji to present evidence of the injustices in the recruitment process and highlight the Telangana Public Service Commission's (TGPSC) alleged compromises in conducting the Group1 exams.
Demands of the Group1 Aspirants:
1. Immediate replacement of GO29 with GO55 – ensuring fair opportunities for marginalized communities.
2. A CBI inquiry into the current Group1 examination – to expose any malpractices and corruption.
3. Entrusting the entire Group1 recruitment process to UPSC – to ensure a transparent and fair examination process.
The aspirants are calling upon all political parties, national print and electronic media, public representatives, intellectuals and student union leaders to stand in solidarity with their movement. Their fight is not just for themselves but for the integrity of the recruitment process in Telangana, ensuring that opportunities are provided based on merit and fairness.
