Not just here. I experienced this in all major temples in UP. And then we wonder why poor are converting to other religions.. They do it because they cant afford this extortion. As an upper caste my self, i feel disgusted to experience this. #TempleCorruption #GreedyPandits

I am sorry to say this but These temple is pandits in north India are literally pim*ing the god. Visited vindhya vasini temple here.they closed the gate and allowing only those who pay 100rs bribe. I have seen some pleading they can give only 20rs.. #TempleCorruption #pandits

See, how Navratri, the most significant festival of Hindus, is being mocked by quoting Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Durga Ashtami, Jyot Diya; is being insulted by giving reprehensible statements from an open forum.. these blasphemous comments on our deities are a deep blow to our faith and belief. These people object to our every festival Navratri, Kanjak Pujan, Karva Chauth, Diwali, Holi, even the chanting of Gayatri Mantra.. Rigveda is dated to at least 1500 BC by most conservative estimates of western Indologists. Others date it to 5000 BC. Rigveda describes Punjab rivers. Vedic literature refers to this land as "Brahmavarta" & is considered very sacred land. That is how old Hinduism is in Punjab
