The Remnant The Lord’s church has been perverted because many loved their man-made kingdoms more than the God they initially believed they served, ultimately loving money and power more. However, God has a remnant who is stripped of everything in this world in order to be filled with the only thing that matters: Jesus and His will, His word, and His ways. Outside of that, a remnant is also a human who is merely a vessel—people who struggle in their flesh like anyone else, but they are not walking in filth; they walk in faith, loyalty, and in the truth, pleasing to God. The remainder (remnant) are not perfect but obedient at all costs to personal comfort, because what’s at stake are our souls, and others. Each soul is as valuable to us as our own, leaving no room for funny business, as we would be harshly rebuked by God. In turn, we must repent and be transformed by the grace of Almighty God. So while the nations are fighting against one another, what is written is unfolding, including the conflict between Israel and Persia, which we now call Iran. However, through the mercies of God, there is more to come, even mercy on Iran. Stay in prayer, stay in the word, and hold to the truth, no matter how much it hurts and what it costs, because the truth is certainly not being paid for its integrity. No servant is above their Master. The Lord is so merciful that it is unexplainably difficult to put into words the type of mercy it takes to allow Himself to be tortured and murdered for the filth of our sin. Through Christ's obedience to sacrifice, we can be forgiven and transformed into new life, receiving salvation through Him. It is through the Spirit of God that we are reconciled with the Father—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work in unison. I was dead in my sin. I share my testimony with pride in my God and His mercy. I was consumed by what is no good because, in my eyes, I didn’t believe there was anything good; I had been torn down all my life. I was ripped to shreds, used up for everything I ever had, and left to die by the same people, like a remnant rag. If you go to the fabric store, you will measure out a large piece of material for your project, and it will be displayed beautifully in that project so that everyone will look at it and say it’s beautiful, so creative, and wonderful. People live to display the main pieces. They say things like. “Can I use it? Can I borrow it?" “Can I touch it?” taking the pieces everywhere.” Whether it’s a comforter, blanket, clothing, or whatever it is, but what about what’s left? The scraps that are used up in many projects but ultimately labeled worthless and thrown in the trash, considered useless. That’s what a remnant Church in Christ reflects. These are the broken ones the Lord has chosen because He has taken us, who have been through things that many can never even imagine, and restored the tattered, shredded pieces for His glory. Together, the Lord has fashioned a beautiful quilt of His work in Christ from the tattered pieces to cover the nations in His truth and righteousness. To lead all souls to Christ, holiness, and healing. We have been with Jesus. And that, folks, is the truth about those God has sent. You know who you are.
